Hangs up when you answer

They called me a couple of times saying, we got information that you have outstanding depts, is that correct? I said no, and the first couple of times, they apologised, but today, just a couple of minutes ago, the guy that I was just speaking to was just a complete A hole, he bloody hung up on me without any explanation. I have never been in dept nor I never want any help from any dept lenders.

Apparently it s vanquis collections, I wouldn t mind if I had missed a payment of excess amounts but I missed £3.64! Not enough to warrant constant calls from this and other numbers that they use.

They hung up when I picked up my mobile, might have been a test call for PPI/Market Intel etc. Tried to cll back on landline and No. was unobtainable.

rings every day even though I have blocked the number rings twice then stops. selling gas, electric & water

I let the call go to voicemail, there were a few seconds of silence then a hang-up. This was repeated again maybe 10 mins later. My mobile is TPS registered - they seem to be breaking the law.

They've phoned our small business 7 times in the past 2 days to try and sell utilities. It's a massive call centre.

Usual ask by name, newver confirm just ask who they were, Scottish sounding chap confirmed the Green Advisory Service. Laughed in his face, told him I was signed upto the TPS, and I work designing roofing and I knew that it was a con, and never to call me again. Then blocked the number. Must get round to reporting these con artists, for all the good it does!

Called at about 6pm on landline, hung up as I answered after about 4 rings.

I Got the call twice from this number to my mobile phone within a week. First time its disconnected as soon as I picked the call. Second time someone spoke with me and verified my name by telling the name correctly and asking that have I met with a road accident and claiming. Despite being registered with the TPS getting repeated calls from this number, finally pressed option 2 to try and speak to then to get the number removed was promptly laughed at and hung up on when I asked then to stop calling! Absolutely furious !!!!

I read in the press that the STAR 9500 smartphone has been found to have a factory installed trojan virus. So I disabled my STAR 9500 and moved the sim card to an old phone. A few days later the old phone reported a missed call and a text message. The message was just this number. I didn t call it back.
