I just received a call from this number by a male person of oriental descent alluding to be from the US Federal Government, some grant department in Washington DC. He notified me of my name being selected from a list of persons with no criminal record, no bankruptcy in the last 6 months and history of making payments ontime. I was told that a grant in the amount of US$9200.00 was mine if I go to a Western Union office and put US$250.00 in some kind of holding account with my personal ID number.

After all the complaints, it beggars belief that these scammers are still using the same phone number and not been arrested. We are a computer repair business and have 2 telephone lines. The irritating Saving Preference Company have been calling me for the last month, on average, about 3/4 times a day!!! Claim to be one of two Google accredited uk resellers. There is no such thing! They call me every day minimum twice a day except weekends. Whenever I refresh gumtree advert. They hang up as soon as they realise you won t part with money over the phone. Told them I m in the telephone preference service but it makes absolutely no difference, they will call none stop. I received call from this morning while I am at work, so I politely declined it.
