Asian sounding man called today from a call center. He was distracted by my dog barking and wanted to get into a conversation about my dog which was obviously a rouse to get me to try and interact with him. I rather abruptly interrupted him 3 times to ask how I can help him when he started mumbling something about post codes and fuel. Automated caller: Said there had been illegal activity on my internet and it will be disconnected shortly, unless I contacted my provider. I was then asked to press the number of the person who would deal with the situation. Of which I hung up as was unsure if this was legit or not? but to my knowledge nothing illegal has been happening on my internet, this is very concerning if it is a scam, as this could make some one ill with worry as to what may be happening on the computer with them being unaware!!!!

Yep Capquest (Arrow finance/pentagon finance/universal credit). This was an old debt from over 15yrs ago which was settle as a CCJ! No idea how they got my current mobile number (i m registered to stop these calls). Keep blocking them but they just use a different number. Not helpful if you do speak to them telling them debt was a settled CCJ either.

As above an Indian chap who said that his name was Jasper, we sometimes get called 20 times a day, he says that he is from Microsoft calling as they have noticed some issues with my operating system. I let him go on for a while, he wanted me to sign in and let him take control of my pc, I then said that I was a licensed Microsoft engineer and the line went dead immediately.
