It was kirklees and calderdale child welfare number. I was expecting it after our doc refered our teen daughter for mental health issues

if its not a scam then how did they get my house number and my name as these are protected under the data protection act and i have no debts so why do they keep ringing me and will not give me details ?

Constantly phoning my mobile up to 4 times per day for the past week, stating i am entitled to claim PPI on finance i have had in the last 12 years, when i said i have never had any finance, he said well 12 to 20 years then, and i said i don t think you have any idea what age i am !!! However i continued to ask them to stop calling me and all he did was continually speak over me and i hung up the phone and just before i did i said i was going to be contacting the police.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. And when we were having our tea, the house rang with this number and when we didn t answer it the mobile rang....this makes you think it is an urgent call???!!!! DO NOT GIVE ANY DETAILS! Your internet and phone line are fine...there isn t a problem with it at all. It s just these thieving bastatds trying to relieve you of your cash...they get abusive when challenged..

I used to work for Stellar (temporary after redundancy). It was an awful job that paid minimum wage with no bonus. One thing I can say about them is they are genuine partners of BT which you can see at bt.com/partners. The agents that call you have all received training of a higher standard than BT agents as they wish to protect their contracts and we actually did genuinely want our customers to get a better deal.
