They called me and knew my name and address. Wanted to confirm this was me saying they wanted to send me a former for a tax over payment. They said they were HMRC and as they already had my detail and even pronounced my name right which surveys calls never do, I said send me the firm. Still not arrived. If HMRC it would come quickly and in their official brown envelop. Sceptical.

Probably call in error as they don t do cold calls

Got a call from this number stating that someone had put me as a emergency contact number, and they have had a car accident. I obviously called everyone i knew to make sure they were all alright, this seems to be a SCAM.

I received a call from this number just now. He said he was from a company called Technical Help Service and told me my computer had a virus. He tried to convince me using various methods including running the eventvwr (the errors listed there are not related to viruses!) This is identical to the well known Windows Technical Helpdesk scam. Calls everyday at least twice - I have blocked them on my phone, finally, but I still get alerts to tell me when they ve tried to call - When I answered 3 weeks ago they hung up straight away. Do not understand this in the least and should be avoided by all costs - If you have an Android, get Truecaller - You can see the company name and have the option to block individual callers and register them as spam
