Call claimed to be from cavity wall insulation company suggesting they are surveying houses to remove insulation where it is causing damp. They asked vague questions I.e “Are you the home owner?”. When I asked a question response didn’t match my question or make sense as a response.

Received a call from this number. Was sleeping after night shift so thanks God that could not answer it. After waking up I phoned on this number around 17:30. A male person picked up my phone call and on my inquiry did not provide any detail that why my number got dialed through this number and that person disconnected my call as quick as possible. Reported as spam to my mobile service and blocked it.

SCAM Took a few seconds to connect, then had the telltale click of a switchboard thing. This company keep phoning me asking for a Duncan Cruickshanks who I believe used to own my telephone number. Tonight they tried ending the call with silence but usually they are abusive, or just ask for the person who pays the household bills. My number is ex-directory & registered with TPS, makes no difference to these people though.
