Phone usually rings a few times with unknown numbers to me, goes to the answer phone and no message is generally left, so I check via this web site in case it could be a safe number, but so far never has been. These people lie to try and seel yuo stuff. Called me today and swore blind they had spoke to me yesterday at 11.30 unfortunately I was actually on a plane at that time. Caller was aggressive and still wouldnt back down even though his lie had been exposed. I am registered with TPS so they shouldnt of called in first place!!

Like previous comment I answered because it was local area code English speaking person saying i hsd been involved in a car accident I said no they then said well someone else had and given my details I said then you need speak to that person You are the one who has my details and it's wrong they then hung up

Answered the call the first time even though not fully convenient as 0161 looked legit. Was obviously a selling call but the caller wanted to be more insistent so I hung up. Two unanswered calls later checked this site which confirmed my suspicions. First time I have had O2 pass on data as far as I know but will complain to them on this one.
