Scam call from HMRC. Caller message is in an American accent and when you call back its an offshore rather than UK dial tone and they answer as HMRC - clearly a scam of some sort and not a very convincing one. Caller blocked but beware!!!

While I was unavailable this number called. Not at first recognising it, I was about to return the call out of courtesy. Then I checked, and realised it was the p.p.i. criminals yet again. Fraud - Sounds like BBC announcer male voice, recorded message. Informing HMRC have warrant for arrest over income tax and to press 1 to connect to HMRC. Complete scam, HMRC only write to individuals and companies before sending in the heavies!!

Received a call this morning from KA Group(?) telling me my washing machine warranty is about to expire. When I asked her which model machine she was referring to, she didn't know. I ended the call.
They rang 4 times in 2 days. They promised after the first call that i wouldn t receive any more calls. Then called the second time to say i had been unhelpful the first time and needed to completed the survey. Abusive the last time.
