"We have been informed you have been in an accident in the last 3 years". I haven t. It is an automated call, the "person" you are talking to is actually automated. I am on the no call list so am reporting them.

Apparently, my Internet connection is unsecure and they are calling to tell me they will disconnect in 4hrs. When challenged - the lady caller wanted me to push combination of keys on keyboard but by this time I was so frustrated that she hung up because I must have sounded rude. She wanted to show me why/how my connection was insecure. -Didn't give her the chance - being described the CTRL / ALT / DELETE buttons as though I'm a child is not acceptable. The caller says they are from the Royal Mail and that I have a package being held in Central London. They want payment to release it. The cost is minimal but felt like a scam. Asked them to send me an email. On receipt, it definitely looks like a scam. I think if postage is underpaid, you get a note to say so through the mail. I'm marking it as dangerous as my gut tells me this is a phishing attack but I can't confirm.
Original call number came in as V21309255500012, when picked up and answered, no response, just silence. After hanging up, hit CID button (caller ID) and the new number was revealed as 1-778-555-0161, a number from British Columbia.

Utility provider that supposedly specialises in smart meters.... missed numerous calls from them for around two weeks. Answered today offering information on switching, when I declined and asked for my number to be removed from their database they decided to argue with me about why I did not want to switch. Can I just say that I have had a call from this number, and you all think it is due to having a quote / taking out insurance.
