Let him waffle on for a couple of minutes before telling him in no uncertain terms that there’s nothing wrong with my internet, he isn’t with BT, that he’s a scammer and that was never to call me again. Man with Indian accent said his name was Ray Hamilton claiming to be calling from HMRC and said I was due nearly £500 in tax rebate. Asked for my card details but didnt give them to him as it is a scam. HMRC wouldnt ring to say you are due a tax rebate let alone ask for your card details on the phone.
