01724865859: called 28-June-21, caller did not speak but hung up after 5 seconds.
Caller claimed to be from Talktalk legal dept in London, despite being Birmingham number. Said they needed to connect me to their server to investigate illegal access from abroad. Tried to talk me through downloading Teamviewer and give him the ID and password! Rang off when I said I would report to police.
A debt collection company who collect debts on behalf of eBay. My fees have been paid once then I got an email saying it d been withdrawn and I still owed fees to the sum of £25. SCAM Said they were BT, and our line was about to be cut off. So, not neutral folks, it's a scam. They can cut our BT landline if they want. We're in Hull on Kingston Telecom, so no BT landlines here. Their office location is said to be in London, on or close to Trafalgar Sq. ... so very close, the Met could pick them up. But somehow doubt that will happen.
