Sarah called via robotic message saying from HMRC asking to call to pay debt, if I didn t call or my lawyer then there would be severe consequences I was to call that number 01273252080 .

Another cold call scam. Preying on the vulnerable. If it is so important to talk to me, why not leave a message asking me to call back, instead of hanging up and phoning back later? Like normal people do. Because they want to catch me unawares, on the hop as it were, to get their greasy foot in the door while I m flustered. Maybe try and steal some data from me while they are at it. Why is this practice not illegal already?
