This call sounds automated and suggests that the person answering the call is involved in a case of tax fraud. It requires to depress number one on your keypad to find out further information otherwise you will be contacted by HMRC. This looks to be a scam.

Claimed to be from British Gas, but wouldn't say the purpose of call before I gave my security details, which I never give to a caller if I'm unsure of their identity. My guess is genuine but still unsolicited call, and they shouldn't expect my security details.

02392 910896 number called saying he (indian sounding - and partially broken english) was from Sky (my ISP) asking if I noticed flucktuating BB speeds. TAXES / HMRC Received a call from 08002853110, claiming to be from Department of Work and Pensions, fraud detected regarding my National Insurance Number, which was being suspended ! I tried to contact DWP by phone, but, due to Covid, was told to go online @ gov.uk. Online - was told to phone DWP contact number. Gave up, and decided to call above number - NUMBER INVALID. Got to be a scam !

this number also pretends to be from talk talk. using the same scan as mentioned in other comments. also be aware sometimes the number has 0044 in front.
