I had a phone call from 02922229992 clalming to be Eon, who asked if I wanted a 'Smart meter', they wanted my account details.... RED FLAG!!!!! Eon SHOULD have my account details - well, they certainly had my phone number. I contacted Eon and they told me to block the number it wan't them....! Like other reviews I received text message at 4.28am (very strange), supposedly from Apple stating: "We've noticed a transaction that seems unusual , therefore we've had to place a hold on your wallet features. Kindly visit EnableYourIDUser.com to see more information on how to continue using your apple wallet." Apple would not be contacting me in the middle of the night (UK time) and certainly not on a UK mobile number. Just delete it straight away. Does not surprise me at all this is Russian l

Amazon scam from Asian call centre. Supposed fraudulent transaction on my Amazon account. Asked me to give six number code sent to me in SMS from Amazon - This was my two step verification code to change my password. All they need to get this sent to you is your Amazon account linked phone number. I did of course refuse.

They sent me this text… hey mum I smashed my phone and I'm using a friends phone to msg you their phone is about to die, can you whatsapp me on 07985152756 I tried calling on withheld to both numbers and neither work. SCAM

Called with message about unauthorized payment from my debit card, if it wasn't you press 1. I did out of interest. Spoke with a man with Indian accent. He knew my name and surname which is highly unnerving. He said a payment of £900 and something pounds had been taken from my debit card. I replied "oh no, it wasn't me, can you help me?". He said yes, he needed some information. I asked which bank debit card? He said Amazon then hung up. Seriously!

Suspected scam. I had a call from 07932918018 this morning. A recorded message said I had unusual transactions on my bank account. I was than put through to an "operative" who asked for my name and date of birth. I hung up at this point and will check with my bank.
