DON'T SPEAK if you don't recognise the number - JUST LISTEN, wait for them to speak first. If the caller just hangs up or only a crackling noise is heard and then hangs up, then congratulations you've just escaped being scammed. Well done!

Received text msg to ring 0300555---- I did not open the the msg up fully. It said my account was over £250 in debt. I don't know of any account I have anywhere!!!?
SCAM Recorded female voice stating that some account belonging to me (didn't catch what she said) had sent £600 overseas and this was a check to see if I had sent it. Press 1 for Yes it was me and 2 for no it wasn't. As it was clearly a scam, I did neither ! Strange that the search shows the number as being from Rothesay - which I'd always regarded as a prestigious place !!!
Its from Nationwide and they ask if you are ???? and if yes press 1 or 3 for no. My daughter left them and we have received 4 calls so far and she has not lived here for over 20 years!!

Fraud / Scam............... States they're from BT with alarming call that your router is faulty and that your internet line is public. Then starts to asks questions about the lights on router, who uses internet, even knew home address, at that point I hung up. I contacted BT - they do not have any such number listed in their network, also they confirmed no calls were made to line from themselves.

Didn't recognise the number so didn't answer. Rang back on works landline and received an automated message saying I had been contacted by a double glazing company, I think they were called "Crown?". Anyway blocked so hopefully will never hear from them again.

This looks to be a scam. I telephoned this number after missing a call and receiving a voicemail message from someone calling himself "John" asking me to call another number. The above telephone number is an automated voicemail service(possibly USA), with no company name given or any indication of identity.

I had a call from this number this morning at 10.49 (approx) and a recorded message came which told me that my Visa card had been used by someone for £900. I didn't bother to listen to the whole message as it was obvious to me that it was a scam. Interestingly I waited a few minutes and then called the number back (which I don't usually bother to do) and a very nice lady answered who said that she ran a clinic. It became obvious that she was genuine and that the scammers had used her number.

They always call me while at work, and each time I tell them I have no time for their survey. They refuse to accept that and insist it will be very short and just proceed with their survey.
