Nuisance caller who rang a number of times, was politely asked to remove my number from their listing and continued to call.

Ring several times a day before 9 a.m. and until 9 p.m. Has gone on for months. I am at my wits end. We have telephone preference. Makes no difference. Sometimes no one is there. Sometimes want to ask a few questions and argue. Not easy to cut them off. Very distressing.

I called the number back and it gives you the option to remove your number from their calling list. Does not actually say who they are though.

Scam number, premium rate, do not call back.....

This number has rung me many times. I have already rang and removed my name from their list but clearly it hasn't worked.

Obvious call centre noise background noise as soon as I answered, with a delay before anyone responded. The caller had an extremely strong Asian/Indian accent and told me his name was Paul Simon (yeah, right!) calling from Norfolk County Council about a recent accident I d had. I told him I hadn t been involved in an accident, he said it must have been a family member (I live alone, but didn t tell him that), I repeated that he was wrong and asked who he thought had been in the accident. My car was involved in an accident, 100% liability on other driver & is going through Motability insurance (both cars are on the scheme). So no idea as to why Hastings Direct are calling me & how the heck they got my phone number!! So searched the number & got a lot of responses saying it s marketing, untrustworthy & not to respond!
