Just received a call from this number asking if we take American Express - I advised no and asked what company they were from assuming it was a customer. He just said he was exploring opportunities for points on his cards. This number appears to be associated with American Express but it would be nice if they were honest about the reason for their call. Call back not possible as I would have asked to be removed from their database.

Sounded like an automated call, woman's voice. Said "hello, how are you" then I put the phone down.

I went on line to find landlord ins and said no to be contacted by anyone but within a few minutes they started calling and haven t stopped - very agressive - I have blocked them from my mobile now.

Silence. Said "hello" a couple of times. After ~10 seconds a recorded woman's voice said "goodbye" and the call terminated.

I just had a call from them & never picked it up. Assuming from all the comments on here, it sounds like it is Vodafone trying to get hold of the owner of all new phones to either check the service is ok or to check something else. Got called in Ireland from this number. Cancelled my Sky TV subscription because of the sheer amount of crap on it, repeats of stuff that has been repeatedly repeated on a repeating basis. Usual shite that I saw years ago is still being repeated and programmes from last week repeated again the following week or even the next night. Rubbish. Had a call from this number telling me they were from Microsoft and there was a problem with our computer. Could we log on etc. Told them to phone back later - They haven t. No idea if it is genuine!

They are an energy company ! Have called me 5 times a day for a week I block the number then they call back on same. Number but with different final digit

I have had a number of missed calls from this number and decided to check it out online, as when I call it back there is no voicemail and it just disconnects. I know realise it s another company asking me to make a claim. I have had numerous calls from these company s. And have told them all I cannot claim. I am annoyed at aviva insurance for giving out my contact details .

O2 follow up call. Gave option to cancel any future call backs.

Phoned my mobile but hung up as soon as voicemail kicked in which is a good indication that the call is a waste of time as it is a wrong number, an idiot or a crook with a crook...

Automated Payment Protection Policy number - been recieving it a few times. Also know others who are recieving it.

Totally unnecessary attitude to customers. I had a 5 minute call where they failed to hang up but left me a message on an answerphone - I think I heard the F word three times, and had to put up with poor singing too!

A scam call supposedly from British Telecom saying Your service will be terminated press 1 to connect to adviser press 2 to hear message again.

Persistent offender of harassment calls. Uncle Buck Finance LLC. They disguise their caller id using literally dozens of different numbers, all of which transfer to collections...
