This texted arrived on my phone as i was checking out of an store via Shop Pay. If it's a scam why is it not being addessed by Shop Pay?
This company keeps phoning. I have told them to stop, but they still keep phoning going to report them now.
Said they were calling from Virgin Media relating to problems with my internet. Sounded like a call centre in India. Wanted to talk me through giving them remote access to settings on my internet. Very dubious, please be careful!
They asked about PPI I asked them not to call me again.
Automated/Silent call. One of a series of calls from mobile numbers starting 077 in the space of a few days. Answered first call, where automated voice said "Your Amazon Prime membership has just been renewed at a cost of £79.99. If you want to cancel this payment, press 1". I'd cancelled my Amazon Prime membership ages ago! After the first call, I screened the next few calls to my answer machine where no message was left, just silence. This number keeps calling, even though I m ex-directory. Sometimes their side is dead and then they call back again. Its PPI people trying to get me to make a claim. I have asked them to stop calling. They still call. Their telephone manner is VERY rude. Annoying people who I d never use even if I did ever want to claim PPI (which I dont)

Cold called me said they were the Hearing Clinic in Derby asked if l worked in a noisy industry took my details Rang back to book a home hearing test. Next day rang again to book hearing Test with no record of me By now l am suspicious l rang them and asked them to bring up my details on their computer but couldn t do that because they were using the phone.
