He asked for my personal details and details of the accident. I refused to give my DOB and he said I should get receive an email. He then mentioned I would be unable to call this number but gave an alternate no. to call i.e. 01273 660 457 if I had any questions

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This could be also some good working money trap, be aware, probably I would recommend to block it... Did someone answer this number? Could be a legitimate service, but I doubt it.
Constant barrage of calls from this number always wanting to speak to the account holder, then to ask questions like name, dob, address.. just to confirm the account information? Well.. I made all the info up.. and passed the apparent acount security check!! What a joke. Marketing preferences are all unchecked so they shouldn t even be calling. Yes this is an apparent service call from TalkTalk however, they did also try to sell additional services. Time to make an official complaint.
