Called out the phone down after I answered

Automated message to say that my internet compromised press 1 etc. Didnt press anything

call claiming to be HMRC. its a scam!

Was called at 4.15pm on Sunday and a message was left that consisted of a full 5 minutes exactly of white noise.

Called twice in 2 days. Each time, no one spoke and then the call was cut. Waste of time.

getting fed up with these nuisance calls all the time so phoned ofcom who are supposed to be the policeman to deal with these calls. to be honest ofcom is about as useful as a fart in a spacesuit. all the lady could tell me was to use call blocking etc. to which i said when these people have 100 s of numbers not much good. told her that ofcom should prove their worth and starting earning their money by doing something about it. but of course they wont because telephone companies will start bleating suppress

Not a day goes by without a moron calling from this number and asking to speak to a Mr Green. The same person calls on a different number if you block the number they are calling from. They are of course cretins who have little understanding of the simple English word "NO". I leave the phone off the hook and let the idiot babble on at No expense to me . I am receiving calls from an insurance company which I have now got them to identify themselves as Castle Cover. I have never had any insurance with them but a few years ago asked for a quote. How long are they allowed to store this information? Will now block this number

This seems to be some kind of estate agency call centre. They called me apparently representing Burchell Edwards from Derby, so I guess they work for a number of agents chasing up dead leads

Older person came out of hospital today to find call from this number purporting to be from "Lisa at HMRC" and saying that there is a serious lawsuit against the person and he must ring the number :( :( Person is registered with TPS.

I have had 3 calls from this number all claiming to BT and requesting I log in for a variety of reasons, first I had a problem with the internet, Secondly they put the phone down when I took the phone from the missus and today apparently my internet was going to be cut off in 3 days. They put the phone down when I requested they tell me what my IP address was. Can t think why. Do not under any circumstances allow them remote access!!!

Scammer: claimed to be about internet security and had my (incorrect) name as typed by TalkTalk so clearly a scammer using data stolen when TalkTalk was hacked.

Not sure who the caller is so didnt answer. If they call me again and like you guys have said it being about a dyson hoover. I may record this and make a right prank out of it myself and stick it on youtube :)
