Scammers.. A recording saying that your national insurance number has been compromised. I keep getting calls on my work mobile which I only ever use for work and it is in no way linked to me personally. Definitely a scam, as I have read about people getting these calls. Be wary!

SCAM Called to say my home appliance cover will be discounted. Gave the name of Chris Jones and a contact number of 08007789104. Gave him false sort code and account number to see where this was going. He asked me to "confirm" my date of birth also gave him a false date, he missed the fact it was April Fool's day. This company uses Voxbone SA (now called bandwidth) services to route calls from scammers. this is just one of many telephone numbers i have had call me trying to scam me and i receive up to six per day for the past few weeks. At the beginning I politely told them that i was not interested requesting them to take my number off their call list and now its straight FO. Sorry for generalising it but it usually an Asian woman or man.

Called by a trained chimp who could only loosely be defined as English speaking. Fool wanted to convice me that the call was from microsoft technical support. Advised them to go back to their own country where no one has a computer and where they might have more luck.

got a text from this number saying my account with Natwest has been locked, I am not with Natwest and it also links to a website. the website it links to domain was created 17 hours ago with a low traffic volume a bit weird for Natwest. Don't you think? I would avoid this link and if you are really worried call up Natwest on their official number.
