Scam call pretending to be from HMRC

Someone left me a message using the wrong name, telling me they are from my bank but not telling me the banks name. Scam?

Answered, i said hello and I heard 2 beeps and they hung up at the other end........guess they dint wanna speak to me ;)

Very suspicious callers. Claiming to be a Pensions firm asking for personal details including even your Nat Ins number which I did not divulge to them. Their response was to say "we cannot proceed any further without this". They do have English accents. My suspicions are confirmed when I try to call back on this number - phone just goes dead. If these people are not scammers - they do a very good impression of scammers.

Scam caller claiming to be from BT Broadband. I Asked why they were interested in my broad beans and he hung up.

Forever calling my 11yo sons mobile, this being a new mobile contract. Clearly cold calling and continue to harrass us, idiots! From now on I answer, appearing to be my local Police Authority. I ve done this with others and they promptly hangup and I never receive a call from them again. As for the TPS, complete waste of time. I and many others had an increase of calls once added, even on a completely new line where nobody had the number as it was used as a broadband only line by us.

This company called today (Sunday 1st March) at 11:27 presumably trying to sell investments

Survey on behalf of the DWP. Asked for no personal information but had a number of questions related to hiring disabled and/or disadvantaged people. Took about 10 minutes to complete.

this number,01254 470094,rang my landline at 6.45pm,which i never answer,as no-one i know has my house number.whoever it was didn,t leave a message.

indian guy called today saying he was windows support, said my dad is the registered user of windows, (my dad has never used a pc in his life, had dementia and now is dead) when told to the so called windows guy, he just kept reading from the script, do not give any info to them, its a scam and they will do anything to get your money.

An automated voice informed me that HMRC are filing a lawsuit against me. Press one to talk to your case officer. Obviously a scam but it will scare the pants off some people. You may rightly assume I m thinking stronger words than I can write here.

Got an unsolicited call from this number. Did not pick up the phone but dialled 1471 to find out the number that had called me. Turned out to be Solution Marketing of Nottingham so I have complained to the TPS with whom my landline is registered.
