Very aggressive attempt to interest me in IVA arrangements. They say they are calling everyone over 18. I said that must be about 40 million people, and how do they know I m over 18. It's one digit too short to be a genuine UK number and London numbers don't start with 4 - only 3, 7, or 8 after the 020.

Don t know anyone in Ayr Scotland but keep getting phone calls. Tried blocking number all I get is another number same code.

Recorded message saying it's HMRC telling that you have been named in a tax fraud case and if you don't press 1 immediately you will be arrested. Hang up, block the number and wait a very long time for someone to come and feel your collar. Pathetic examples of humanity operating these scams.
