Cold call received mid-morning. Disrespectful, pushy and unprofessional. No contact from this local business ever before, yet rang using over-familiar approach and demanding to talk about IT and security contracts. No evidence of who they were, except their say so. This is not someone that you would wish to talk to blind on the phone and not a business that thinks about their approaches and the need to safeguard their prospective customers against "fishing expeditions". SCAM - Apparently they were from Sky trying to test my broadband speed. Notwithstanding I am not with Sky, I asked them to tell me my own name and postcode and they hung up. How rude! I assume the next step would be to access my computer to 'fix' the issue.

This call referred to an Amazon Card (which I don't have) and an international money transfer of £300. None of which is relevant. Sounds threatening. Have had this before but on a different number.

Number appears on a fake PayPal 'You've got a money request'. It is part of a warning that there has been suspicious activity on your (PayPal) account and to call this number - +44-808-196-3116. This is a fake warning added by the scammers, it is NOT a legitimate message from PayPal. If you call the number the Operator will ask to have access to your PC. This is likely where the scam will take place; either malware, key logger or worse.

Fraud! Pretending to be legitimate debt help charity trying to get you to take out an iva to pay off debt. Lead generators committing fraud and preying on vulnerable people. Based in Manchester, uses names like Peter Munrreo, Frank Maccallan. Tells you calling from Stepchange but they arent. Please report to action fraud and block numbers.

Fraud autovoice claiming to be "bank" two unusual uses of card one for Amazon and one for international transfer. Fake, do not follow instructions.

SCAM Woman with strong foreign accent claimed to be from 'BT technical department' (immediately obvious not genuine) and said they had received notifications that my internet was being used by others fraudulently. Pointed out BT not my provider which she ignored, she then tried to guess some letters from my email to 'send me a verification' and when I said that wasn't my email, accused me of lying!!!! Presumably hoping I'd supply my actual email.

SCAM false business too

SCAM- Claiming to be from HMRC - errors in self assessment - sounded official - but HMRC don't phone you...

I gave my details to a Fake BBC New story on Facebook about trading software and this company keeps calling me. I have asked them three times to delete my contact details under the GDPR "right to be forgotten" and they simply get abusive. They are looking for me to "activate my account and upload £200 on a debit/credit card".

Very rude company, fraud company trying to get you to invest

Caller purported to be from Amazon. "We think a fraudulent order has been made on your account" Tries to get you to use Anydesk.com software to gain access to your machine.

This appears to be a bank scam with claims that "your visa card has been charged £500+ on an amazon purchase, and another charge as well. and to press 1 (I think) On phoning back, the number is not reccognised. Interestingly, my own phone number is 014195632xx.

They are claiming to be B.T.

Mobile operator billing system says I have called this number and have charged me for it. There’s no record of it on my phone at all.

SCAM Call doesn't name your bank but says that transactions have been made on your account and want to divert the call to the 'customer service'. BE AWARE!

SCAM Ppi claim rubbish. Wanting my national insurance number and address. Don't hand over personal information.

SCAM. Hmrc has a fraud case against me. No they absolutely do not. Your passport could be suspended! No, no it absolutely won't. Do not answer.

Recorded message reporting unusual activity on my credit card. One transaction from Amazon and a foreign transaction for 999 pounds. Press 1 to authorise payment or 2 to speak to an advisor Strongly suspect this is a scam. As it was a local number I tried to call it back later and got unobtainable signal. Beware.
