Bellends rang this morning on a bank holiday. When I answered, it seemed to ring at their end then their was a slight pause after which I could hear some background noise like it was a call-centre before it was terminated.

Never give any information to an unknown caller, no matter how plausible they sound.

Call received from this number at 19.07 on Monday 15th October. When I answered, no-one spoke, there was a lot of background noise and voices and then "they" hung up!

Constantly phoning my mobile up to 4 times per day for the past week, stating i am entitled to claim PPI on finance i have had in the last 12 years, when i said i have never had any finance, he said well 12 to 20 years then, and i said i don t think you have any idea what age i am !!! However i continued to ask them to stop calling me and all he did was continually speak over me and i hung up the phone and just before i did i said i was going to be contacting the police.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. Definitely a criminal enterprise. Rang me telling me I should claim the money set aside for me after a crash that they somehow knew I had been in. Very cleverly the got personal details from me including my address, date of birth and national insurance number. They pretend to put you through to a solicitor whilst keeping you on hold for a while... Very well thought out criminal enterprise.. After a couple of days they confirm that you can have the money.. And arrange for a "special courier" for legal docume
