Calling 3 times in the morning, claiming to be Halifax. wanting personal details,Had an Asian woman, and an Asian male speaking, do not give details, been verified by Halifax as a fraudulent caller, and advised to contact phone service provider to block calls.
At best this a company that breaks the PECR regulations by calling people on the TPS list. At worst it s a scam preying on older people because they don t seem to have a website and are asking whether you re over 65. Received call claiming to be BT outreach wanting to reset my broadband l hung up but phone out of use ever since "line in use" displayed.
After all the complaints, it beggars belief that these scammers are still using the same phone number and not been arrested. We are a computer repair business and have 2 telephone lines. Got a call on line 1 from the scammer (Asian male) who announce that my computer had problems!!! He was told in no uncertain terms to do something rather harmful to himself.
