SPAM SCAM Fraud this number was on a scam email I received purporting to be from eBay which of course it wasn’t.

Although this is a local area code, the automated message upon picking up the phone said…’Dear Customer, your Amazon Prime membership has expired and you have been charged £95…’ I hung up the phone before listening to the rest of the message! SCAM!! Probably trying to get vulnerable people to hand over their bank details!!

Amazon prime scam, “ you have been charged £95 from Visa card for prime services please press 1” etc nearly picked up as it was from a local area code number

Rang twice and left a message that we have been charged £95 because our prime has ran out! We don't use prime and there has no debit on our account! Suspect its a scam and haven't answered, will now block them.

Lady with Asian accent. Alleging I am due a refund for over £200 for an overpaid bill. Knew my name, next asked my age and I put the phone down. Assume next ? would have been for bank details.

Claims to be HMRC, threatening legal action, textbook scam call center based in India, gets angry and curses at you when you don't treat them like they expect to be treated :)

Said 2 transactions had been taken from my bank. One for £300+ & another for over £1000 & to push button for help & more details!!!

3 times these person called me after saying twice nicely that I wasn't interested and hanged up. The 3rd time wasn't so nice and asked to speak to management and he refused to and then was threatening as well saying who do you think I am and do you know who I am etc.

01992 466466 called. Automated voice saying that it was from the fraud department and that £900 pound was being taken out of my account for a visa debit payment. Had so many of these defo fraud.

SCAM!!! John from the "Medical Alert Centre" called telling me I have been flagged up as qualifying for a free medical alert pendant. He then asked, "Are you over the age of..." seemed to think for a while and then decided on 50. I am a decade younger than this so I just said, "No." which seemed to confuse him and he said, "Right." Such lazy scammers - they use the same numbers each time. Basically if you receive a call from a Bolton code eg 01204 and you don;t live in Bolton or know someone who lives in Bolton, just ignore and block. It will just be these lazy evil scammers. Sometimes they claim to be TalkTalk, another time they claim to be 'National Debt Resolution'. They are totally useless - they are even rude the moment you answer, and can't even manage to sound even briefly plausible or professional. Evil fools - the worst.
