Claimed to be from the National Crime Agency threatening to suspend my National Insurance number, take control of my assets and arrest me and to press 1 to speak to an officer (which obviously I didn't)
Hung up when I answered. Tried ringing back, it said "your service has been suspended, please contact your service provider" Could be anything

Fraud SCAM BEWARE! Claims to be from 02. Will sent a one time pass code from what looks like a genuine 02 labelled SMS account. Do NOT give this code out Pushed the "O2 agent" on giving code out when they finally admitted this was a fraud/scam call.
Called this number back and it was a recorded message saying Provident tried to call me.

Unknown to me says Birmingham comes up as Preston
SCAM Purporting to be a bank card fraud department. The guy had an Indian accent... and I do not use the bank that was mentioned, so I put the phone down. The ONLY fraud was the caller. No doubt they would have been asking for all sorts of things - DO NOT give them any information whatsoever.
We got a call from this number at 2.20am which woke us up with a fright. Recorded message saying ‘Can you hear me?’ And no response when sleepily replied. Really annoying - couldn’t get back to sleep afterwards for hours. No idea what the purpose of it was.

He was not from a telephone company - he should be ashamed of himself how does he (and the rest of the Indian callers) sleep at night. This was a recorded message telling me that a fraud case is being raised in my name (didn't mention my name though) and I should press 1 now to prevent a criminal case being reported to the police.
Indian sounding lady rang my ex-directory home phone. Asked when I had had a car accident. I said, "Don t you know?" The line then went dead.
