Claimed to be from sky, when asked who the account holder was, hung up. Be very careful.
Very annoying. Had 3 calls from this number in the bast 2 days. Same person, calling him self Eric. Don t know where they re calling from but extremely annoying.
Looks a genuine mobile number but when answered it sounded like an automated voice telling me problems with HM C & E, knowing that they would never phone direct so just put the phone down, Guessing it will be some kind of scam to get details from you.
While I was unavailable this number called. Not at first recognising it, I was about to return the call out of courtesy. Then I checked, and realised it was the p.p.i. criminals yet again. They must be pestering thousands in this way for their own selfish gain. I will breathe a sigh of relief when they are prosecuted.
This was definitely a call from a scammer. These use spoofed numbers, originate outside the UK and are untraceable. NEVER GIVE ANY INFORMATION to these callers or confirm you...

Automated voice saying that I would be arrested for fraudulent activity to do with my national insurance number. They wanted me to press 1 to speak to an officer - I chose not to because I was concerned I would get charged. When the message ended, the call ended. Definitely Fraud/SCAM.

Fraud - spoofed telephone number almost certainly from Indian call centre of fraudsters. Asking if you want your Amazon Prime subscription cancelled otherwise £79 will be debited from your account. You are instructed to go to your computer and press [Windows + R] key and type "anydesk" and press enter. Then you are to search Google for "anydesk". Lesson Learned simply hang up on them. About time the governments and phone operators stopped these kind of calls, SPAMS and FRAUD are No.1 crimes.
