Clean Green - claim there is an energy survey going on in my road (named it and knew my house number and my name) - I said there is nothing going on in my road. Claimed it was about a change in building regulation sand checking heat loss. I said that is absolute rubbish - she claimed it was not. I suggested she gets a proper job and hung up.
This number called me asking lots of strange questions including today’s date. That’s when I hung up. Felt like they could be trying to get my voice for voice recognition.

These people obtain, STEAL, your tel. number from your ip address via metadata. Ever come accross annoying adverts when browsing online which doesn t let you close? ie. Engadget, youtube etc... I have BT guardian which asks callers to announce who they are before I answer. Most sales calls hang up at that point, this one didn't. Lovely lady explained that I could have a half hour appointment to check energy efficiency of my home and advise of any improvements. I made the appointment. Very polite young man called Adam arrived, checked the loft and roof, looked around, discussed my energy payment per month. The information given was useful, nothing to sign, no sales pitch. I would have no worries.

SCAM it is a man who comes from a date app and start texting and says he loves you and want to marry you then he suddenly has a new contract job in Asia (Malaysia) but he requests your address because he will send some gifts and when he come back from his "mission job" he will buy tickets to visit wherever you are. Then you text and the number has been blocked and he mysteriously vanishes from the earth. Be careful.
