Automated voice saying that I would be arrested for fraudulent activity to do with my national insurance number. They wanted me to press 1 to speak to an officer - I chose not to because I was concerned I would get charged. When the message ended, the call ended. Definitely Fraud/SCAM.

I had a silent call from this number.
Called me twice in the last couple days saying money has been transferred from my account to a foreign country and to press a button to cancel transaction. Number doesn’t correlate to any of my banks.

SPAM and FRAUD - Shane called me today about my telephone line reducing my line rental - he said he could see I also had broadband (I don't). He was not from a telephone company - he should be ashamed of himself how does he (and the rest of the Indian callers) sleep at night. phoned about a refund from an old mbna credit card.
When I picked up the phone I could hear a recorded voice gabbling on about pensions. It was the same as I got last week on a different number. It was also the second nuisance call in one morning. I was trying to get ready for an appointment.
Said they were Mcafee support, handling issue relating to our home "network" which would mean all devices using network (he meant router) would shortly become infected and stop working. Wanted £200 to fix, as our Mcafee didn't cover "network". Said we'd call back and given this number. Subsequently checked with Currys who support some of our tech who confirmed it's a scam
