The irritating Saving Preference Company have been calling me for the last month, on average, about 3/4 times a day!!! I tried ignoring their calls, then handing the phone to my son so he could wind them up and then finally gave up and answered their questions telling them a fake name and address and said NO to absolutely every question they asked including Do I have a TV, car and washing machine? . I have BT guardian which asks callers to announce who they are before I answer. Most sales calls hang up at that point, this one didn't. Lovely lady explained that I could have a half hour appointment to check energy efficiency of my home and advise of any improvements. I made the appointment. Very polite young man called Adam arrived, checked the loft and roof, looked around, discussed my energy payment per month. The information given was useful, nothing to sign, no sales pitch. I would have no worries.
