I received a call from this number just now. He said he was from a company called Technical Help Service and told me my computer had a virus. He tried to convince me using various methods including running the eventvwr (the errors listed there are not related to viruses!) This is identical to the well known Windows Technical Helpdesk scam. Pestered once or twice every day by this one calling my mobile. They deserve to be very heavily fined!

Got a call from this number stating that someone had put me as a emergency contact number, and they have had a car accident. I obviously called everyone i knew to make sure they were all alright, this seems to be a SCAM.

Recorded message re. compensation. Repearted calling.

Anon, Myrtle s comment is correct at that date. It is, or was, a technical help number for out of warranty BT phones. Bit cheeky of them to use a premium rate number, though.

Got called this morning by this number and hung up. They phoned back 5 times with a long string of threatening aggressive expletives. Then left a string of expletive ridden abusive messages on my answer phone. Asian sounding voice. Just annoyed by the fact I could "meet" this guy face to face
