But where my FB was this number was there .and I have put soft ware in . A SCAM - be very careful as the person on the phone will try to get you to download a programme called "anydesk.com" which gives remote access to your computer. In my case the person said he was from SKY and was checking on my report on bad internet signal (that part was true). He took me through a few dialogue boxes (thankfully I knew that I was not changing settings). He then tried to get me to download the programme. Thankfully I questioned it. He hung up. Spammed me with calls over a few days that I kept missing. When I picked up, they claimed to be from Steadman-Chase in London. I didn't really believe them and they tried to convince me to invest, along with trying to throw terms at me to sound smart. When they finally accepted that I wasn't interested, they abruptly hung up. Block this number!

Called me 6 times in the past 3 weeks. I have missed all the calls as they happened when I am working. They have never left me a message which makes me assume either dodgy or cold calling. After reading other people's comments below I have blocked the number - if it is green peace as some suggest then I have no idea how they have got my number. I have never donated to Greenpeace however I may well have signed petitions but I don't think you usually give out your phone number when you sign a petition
