Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. SCAM Claims to be an energy consultant (MG?)but knows nothing. Tried to read from a script. Didn't like being told to stop and listen. Made no comment when I said the call was illegal as I was with the TPS and terminated when I said I would report the number.
My husband has unfortunately been duped by this company - Clearview partnership. Started with hard sale on Carbon emmisions and he unfortunately has since gone on to invest large sums of money in gems and oil. Portfolio of investment was supposed to go to auction Dec 13. Suprise however - company states had to stop trading as under investigation but investment still safe!! Have since reported to police/action fraud but feer money gone ( life savings). Scam call pretending to be your internet provider and then attempt to get remote access to your computer. They say your internet is about to be cut off, press 1 to speak to someone. They are low life scammers trying to either get you to buy their scam software license or steal your banking details. Beware!!!
Parasitic, harrassing ambulance chasing lawyers "Accident Advice Centre" who insist on calling up to six times a day. They don t get the message: remember that YOU ultimately pay for these parasites as part of your insurance premium, and they end up keeping a high proportion of the total cost.
I got an automated call from this numer telling me I was accused of tax fraud and if I didn't press 1, a warrant would be issued and I would e arrested shortly. I think we can safely say this is a scam.

This number called my 93-year old mother-in-law at about 07:45 hrs. She told them that she couldn’t hear them. They called her back a couple of times, and tried to get her to do something on her iPad. She said she’d have to get her son-in-law to call them as she didn’t understand them. They haven’t called again since. Incident reported to local police as a vulnerable person is being targeted. This number has now been reported to BT security who have blocked it nationwide.
