He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. Answered call and voice identified himself as Energy advisor in area and asking to confirm as householder. Feeling polite, I responded yes but do not entertain cold calls and asked to end call. The voice continued making me believe it is voice-activated and not to be trusted. I put the phone down.

This number calls claiming to be from HMRC, they say they have discrepancies in your tax return and your national insurance number will be suspended if they are not correct. At this point I hung up.

Nach der Kontaktaufnahme in Whats-App schrieb die Person, dass er jetzt eine neue Telefonnummer hat, aber nicht mit mir sprechen kann. Weil es noch Probleme mit der alten SIM-Karte gibt und diese nicht vom neuen Handy gelesen werden kann. Die Person, angeblich mein Sohn, bittet um eine Geldüberweisung, weil er eine Zahlung verpasst hat. Das Geld (1989,09 ohne Währung) sollte ich am nächsten Tag zurückbekommen. Ein Fake!!!
