TAXES / HMRC - called my mobile 12:42 on 25/2/2021 sounded like a pre recorded message allegedly from HMRC re tax fraud and that if no response was made an arrest warrant would be issued...
Claim to be HM revenue and customs investigating tax fraud, with threat of criminal charges in 45 minutes if you hang up.

Seems like an Indian call centre, have had a few missed calls from several number over the passed few days which I have blocked. They left a 20 second voicemail by mistake with them talking in Indian and laughing before realising that she was on voicemail and hung up. No company name offered, wouldn’t trust regardless. Especially as it appears to me a mobile number and not a landline
why do they call?
Had a call off this number. A woman said hello and then put the phone down. I'd say it's another one of these scam calls where they expect you to call back and then you get charged. These types of scams are becoming a regular occurrence.

Claimed to be from Sky. Haven't been with Sky for five years, and told the guy he's obviously making a scam call. He hung up quickly.

I asked where he was calling from but couldn’t understand what he said, put him on loudspeaker and asked again and no one in my office could understand what he said? This number just rang my phone, I said hello, they then hung up on me. Agreed with Adam that they want you to phone them back. Found out that it is a charge of 45p-62p per minute to ring back. Also found out it is an individual not a company hoping you will phone him/her back and in doing so they will make him/herself a nice monthly income at your expense.

Text from what claims to be Pay Pal not PayPal saying 'Temporarily limited my account due to failed log in attempts' with a link that I guess will ask you to enter your details etc to gain access to your account.
I having my website redesign and both James and Lisa listen very carefully of what I wanted to have done. Originally, I ask for consultation for a personal website by mistake and Arial made sure that I got to the right department and reschedule me an appointment with Commerce-redesign on the same day. James called me and explained the details in more depth of my package and offered me more options to considered that my e-commerce website would get the most SEO attention that I wanted.
Electronic lady called claiming it's HMRC and I have a case for tax evasion.... I am pretty sure HMRC would not call me for this nor in this manner...
