Cold called today from this number saying they were given our road traffic accident details by NFU to settle the remainder of money owed to me under a Discomfort payment, even though there was no personal injuries in the accident. Even though I asked the lady why NFU would instruct them to call me to say I am owed money when our claim was completely settled is totally absurd, she continued to say no we are entitled to between £3k-4k as the claim threshold of £350 was exceeded. Seems to be used for some call centre working for financial companies - similar numbers are reported with PPI and financial offers/loans, all the same 020347658xx range of numbers. Block it if not interested. I have been using the ShouldIAnswer mobile application from these pages, works fine, can stop such calls and also a range of numbers (wery usefull for call centres). No problems.

SCAM - Sketchy-sounding robo-call pretending to be HMRC.
Call is from 0121 Birmingham. Sounds as far away as India where a lot of cold calls originate - speakers usually have heavy Indian accents and difficult to comprehend but when you ask, they are unable to answer simple questions if it deviates from the script. They reluctantly then drop in they are "BT" calling. Next time I feel like acting out I m cooperating just to see how far it goes and how eager they get when they think they ve hooked me !
