A lady called me and said I was involved in a car accident, I told her I don't drive then she cut the call. Today again she tried to call me. Think she's fraud.

Caller had rough Mancunian accent. He told me I had been hurt in a car accident & could claim compensation for me.

I must have had ten calls this last week from a company calling themselves UK Preference. Today s number used was 01612228888. The voice was an Indian male and was very persistent talking over me when I told him to take me off their calling list and to stop calling me. Alleged to be a number dealing with BT problems with scammimg emails/broadband, but when I asked for details of the address to verify their information they gave the wrong/incorrect address for me, which showed they were not from BT.
