Just spoken to O2 regarding this number and the calls my wife had been getting. They confirmed that the number does belong to O2 and is not a scam, it is their Customer Research (for want of a better description) calling to ensure she was getting the right deal for her and to see if she wanted to upgrade, so I suppose they re Market Research/Sales. Perfectly safe to answer. If in doubt, just don t give answers to questions you feel uncomfortable about.

Woman with a heavy indian accent said she's calling from Windows technical support and saying "this call is about your personal computer, you have one at home, right?" I said "I don't think Windows would call me, so no thanks" and hang up and blocked the caller.
A silent phone call hung up right away,and barred number.
Answered all 3 calls from this company. And 3 times I stated I wasn t interested. I have now blocked the call from my mobile. They do not accept the word "No" all 3 calls were from men that could barely speak English. Don t waste your time answering this call. Basically market research that tries to rope you in to giving details

Fraud SPAM We’ve been speaking to BT about this and they confirmed the call was indeed a scam. A spokesperson from BT told us, “We’ll never call a customer to tell them their router or IP address has been compromised or ask for any personal information, including bank details unexpectedly and we’ll never call from an ‘unknown’ number.

Very aggressive and rude. They will say that they are calling regarding "Your car accident" for which they have no details. They will call everyone including people who never had a car. Called from a noisy call centre. Introduced themselves from black pearl claims. Company registered in leeds kept them on the line the wanted to know my address DOB and if i had any loans.
