Asian Guy (David) calling from Windows Technical about my computer. Apparently something wrong with my computer so need to turn it on so they could sort it out. I asked them to tell me what my computer IP address is - which obviously they can t tell me because they don t know who they are speaking to. IT IS A SCAM - THEY WANT A ONE OFF, LIFETIME PAYMENT. Told them it was a scam. He got angry at this. So I said don t call again and that I was reporting their number to police - Action Fraud. Also helpful t

And the point to this phone call? Exactly where did they get my name & phone number from.

Scam call asking for details of my lawyer, for tax default. Claimed to have written to me and wanted details from me. I didn t give them any of my details, they said because I wouldn t give them my information the police would be round my house in a couple of hours to arrest me. Person on the phone did not speak very good English as was definitely not from the HMRC.

Bunch of ambulance-chasers touting for compensation claims. More of a nuisance than anything else.

British gas asking for feedback on a recent call

I have had 2 phone calls yesterday and today but when I answer it it goes silent. Its a nuisance.

Apparently i entered a facebook holiday competition n although i didnt win they were offering a weeks free accommodation for £168 admin fee - no thanks number blocked

I've had st least fifteen calls from this bloody number I've been nice to them when they phone me but no more of that you wouldn't believe it they tried again whe...

Call said BT were about to cut off my internet and to click to speak to someone. Did not proceed. a normal scam, new number.

They had my name but stopped speaking mid-sentence before they said where they were from and then hung up. I heard call centre noise after they stopped speaking.

That Alisha told me that she will reduce my bill. I just opened by business i have already got like three to four paper works. What the hell is going on. And also 5000 pounds have been missing in my bank account as well. That was my hard earned money. It took me quite alot of time to gather that much money and now its been stolen. They tried to scam me. They claim to be a legitimate business. But they will not disclose any genuine information about themselves. Yet they expect you to give them your personal details. I have since found our that they are fraudsters! DO NOT DISCLOSE YOUR PERSONAL DETAILS!

Caller s English not brilliant. I had trouble understanding her (and vice versa). Wanted to send out a ?50 Tesco or Waitrose voucher to me once she confirmed my name and address. Told her I don t give details over the phone to people I don t know. She rang off.
