I received call from this morning while I am at work, so I politely declined it. And I asked whether this is one of those commercial calls because I would like to be taken off the list forever, and the guy on the phone lied and said is to do with my life insurance, etc. (which is rather funny cause I am not currently paying any). This is a scam number. informed me that i £600 had been illegally taken from my bank. they disconnected me when i asked them to verify the name of the bank. I have reported it to fraud line.
Text message stating it was Octopus Energy. But I have an account and they normally contact via email. So I don’t trust it.

Continually calling even when their "services" are politely declined.Certainly doesn t instill any confidence in their ability to do anything as they clearly can t LISTEN to a flat no thank you!! Ive blocked these calls many times but they still keep getting through.

SCAM - DO NOT RESPOND This was a recorded message saying two potentially unauthorised payments had been made on my card - one of £300 and an international payment of £1,000 - followed by the option of approving the payments or speaking to someone about them. This sounded like a scam ( there was no mention of which bank the call was from), and so it turned out to be when I checked with the bank.
Friendly voice (conning voice) asked me by name, then proceeded to say "I m calling about the car accident you recently had" - when I asked "what accident?" - she hung up.
