I received a text from this number claiming to be Royal Mail. The text contained a link. I work for Royal Mail and I know this to be a scam. Please do not tap links in texts pretending to be Royal Mail. The link will install tracking software on your phone.

This number was used by my local Peugeot garage/dealership where I take my car for MOT, servicing and repairs reminding me that my car is due for MOT.
Same as you all, thought the same thoughts tries the number and then searched it to double check and knew something wasn t adding up.
The people on the other end of this phone have confirmed by letter they are delivering me a phone on 23rd August 2012 and that my current phone will be switched off on 26th. I am now receiving phone calls telling me I am entitled to a free upgrade and cheaper phone rate. I have told them several times now over five days that this is already sorted and I am now still receiving phone calls. ***Fraud*** Asian runt called saying they were Carphone Warehouse with offers for EE, O2, Vodafone and Three. Told the runt that I work for Carphone Warehouse and we no longer offer EE, O2 or Three (haven't offered Three since around 2010!!). Also told the runt that Carphone Warehouse no longer exists - surprise surprise the runt hung up!! Do NOT answer!!

dirty dirty dirty dirty scammers. avoid at all costs
asked for me by name and had details of an old card that I had used. Stated from GoGuardian - an app to stop cold callers. Informed him I had TPS and that was not stopping them. Got a raised voice response. TPS let calls in from unused numbers and mostly from overseas. Told him not free to talk, then checked on line.. Number relates to a restaurant in Weston Super Mare. So ihe was talking a load of crap. When are these scammers going to give up.

SCAM Automated message said it was Inland Revenue and that I hadn't paid my taxes. To avoid a court date and possible jail time press 1 to speak to an agent. A trace says the number originates in Russia. No chance I believe any of that rubbish.
Was rung by this number twice and put on hold for 7 minutes by an automated American voice and then hung up on.

He was very aggressive asking me if I had claimed any money from the accident as it obviously was not my fault ( Never been in an accident ).Continued to ask if I had claimed for my accident getting even more aggressive. I said to him if you are aware of my accident you should have all the details there.He went ballistic and told me to f-ck off before hanging up !!
