Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. Had a call from 01497 874850. From BT Openreach regarding untrustworthy downloads from Facebook / Google. Wanted me to connect to a page on internet to check security has not been compromised. When challenged (ie no problems noticed, I would not connect to any page while on the phone - I would contact BT myself), they hung up. Obvious telemarketing / scamming.

PaymentShield Harassment Calls Warrington Area Code 01925598604. This harassing company called PaymentShield calls me at least 3 to 4 times a day between 12:00 to 16:00. Do not give them your DOB or any other details, apparently it may be a scammer watch out. I ignore all calls coming into my landline number until the caller speaks. If no one speaks within a few seconds, I assume that I ve been called by an autodialler which is activated by the sound of my voice, and because I ve remained silent.... nothing happens, or I hang up. I then dial 1471 for the number and Google it. I never call any numbers they ve left for me to call. If they are too lazy to make any effort to contact me themselves.... then their call can t be that important!
