I got called by this number at 18:07. The line was silent and when I hung up it called again. A quick search suggested it was Barclays Bank. An odd time of day for a bank to call! I contacted Barclays via their app for a live text chat. The operator assured me it was a Barclays number and not a scam. Junk, text for someone else, something about BPO.. I've had the same message from several different numbers, blocked them and then it comes from another number.
Automated robotic voice telling me that there was a fraud case opened against me and to press 1 to be connected to someone from the HMRC office. If I didn't press 1 then a warrant would be issued against me and someone would be around shortly to arrest me.
I answered the call to be asked if I d had a car accident before I could finish the word no I was TOLD someone definitely had an accident in my car!! I replied, well no one told me about it and they were nice enough to repair the damage and put my car back without me knowing ;-) don t answer the phone guys..these fools are opportunists!

Then a man with an Indian accent spoke to me asking for my postcode and address. I foolishly gave it to him after which he hung up -this must be some sort of scam or attempted fraud
