SCAM. A guy calling me by my first name, started a conversation about Trading. And I asked him if he's ever Wolf of Wallstreet. And he said NEVER MIND, GOOD DAY and hung up. Probs looking for suckers to buy something and then make a commission from the loss.

applied for loan online. received loads of ph calls & sms claiming they can sort loan, just ph them to proceed. same as other people are commenting, you get given another number to ph, which is 09no. told cost of call will be refuunded, & loan never materialises. Obviously a scam, got be fair though all seemed very genuine in beginning. glad i looked into it in more detail. 1 to avoid in future, have now blocked number

Fraud mobile phone contract. When i said no thr indian chap called me and f'in a.hole. of course I replied telling him what he was.
kept ringing, hung up. its a computer calling many homes at once, and when you pick up, if they have staff available they will talk. if no staff, the call hangs up and calls another 100+ homes. very annoying. if not a scam, probably selling junk or ppi that you wouldnt have bought otherwise. AVOID
02392 910896 number called saying he (indian sounding - and partially broken english) was from Sky (my ISP) asking if I noticed flucktuating BB speeds. SCAM - Claiming to be calling on behalf of EDF Energy, total gas and British gas to update records. I called EDF, they confirmed this is not their number. This is someone lying in order to try and get business away from your energy providers and therefore any information you give them could be used fraudulently!
