Another scam number, automated message pretenting to be from our card issuer that there is suspicious activity. This is the second call this morning from a number started from 01256 with different end digits. Do NOT press 1 or 2 as suggested. Number blocked now.

The caller was warning me of dangerous transactions on my card. Amazon and overseas transactions. My bankers would not deal with this sort of matter by phoning my home phone number.

They're pretending to be iD Mobile but they're not, god knows how they're finding what mobile service we're with to try and make the text message look genuine. Received a call today 21.6.22 at 13:15. Recorded message purporting to be Visa regarding to possible acts of fraud against my debit card. 1 x £1000 and 1 x £300. think this is a new bank scam posh voice phoning about your visa debit card having made two large money transfers - didn't go any further as I assume give us your bank detail to stop transaction.

Says my credit card has been charged and to press 1 if the charges were NOT mine. Somehow getting a call from Russia to say my UK credit card is compromised is a little bit suspect !

Diese Tel.-Nr. hat in Whats-App, als mein Sohn, um Kontakt gebeten. Nach der Kontaktaufnahme in Whats-App schrieb die Person, dass er jetzt eine neue Telefonnummer hat, aber nicht mit mir sprechen kann. Weil es noch Probleme mit der alten SIM-Karte gibt und diese nicht vom neuen Handy gelesen werden kann. Die Person, angeblich mein Sohn, bittet um eine Geldüberweisung, weil er eine Zahlung verpasst hat. Das Geld (1989,09 ohne Währung) sollte ich am nächsten Tag zurückbekommen. Ein Fake!!!
