Spam caller pretending to be from Carphone Warehouse

I was called today by this company and found out who they were (on here). I promptly phoned their 0845 number and requested that they remove me from their database. I explained that I had caller preference and threatened to report them to Ofcom. The interesting thing is that they asked me if I knew a certain person (who they mentioned by name). This person was clearly the person they were chasing for the debt but I had never heard of her. They state on their website that they are they work ethically, honest

got a call from my mobile on this number and hung up when I answered, I rang back from land line and it was an accident claim number

MOT reminder! In principle that is a good idea, but I have repeat missed calls at least 2 a day, when the phone never actually rings just leaves a missed call message with the 0345 number! While I was unavailable this number called. Not at first recognising it, I was about to return the call out of courtesy. Then I checked, and realised it was the p.p.i. criminals yet again. This number called with a supposedly robotic caller and when I said hello the robot said was it correct that I had a car accident that wasn t my fault. I didn t speak and then a real person came on. I still didn t speak and they eventually hung up.

Called twice by this number from Gretna area. I rang back. Recorded message said they were Media Match!!and that call was not important.

I note that this number has been cloned and this number showed up today and was Talk Talk (so they said) and I had problems with my router. I blocked so they called on another number a few hours later.
