I ve had a lot of harassing calls today, each time from a different number, this is the latest one, have been blocking them all.

This number is a telepest number. Which means an individual or organisation which makes unsolicited and unwanted telephone calls, often at an inconvenient time. Hope that helps...

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. I have had calls from this number every day for the past two weeks on my landline and mobile, I don't recognise it don't answer.

CALLED 9-30 AM , TODAY-SILENCE FOR ONE MINUTE , THEN I PUT THE RECEIVER DOWN.
