Indian call centre for accident claims...

Silent call - just goes dead. I am getting a number of these calls from London numbers - I never speak first so obviously aren't activating the voice activated scam.

I must have had ten calls this last week from a company calling themselves UK Preference. Today s number used was 01612228888. The voice was an Indian male and was very persistent talking over me when I told him to take me off their calling list and to stop calling me. On one day last week I had three calls from this same company within one hour. Most annoying. I had to put my phone down in the end because they would not listen to me. I get roughly 10 calls a day from London which I presume is the same company with same first 7 numbers being 020 3966 followed by 2150, 2146 and 2264, no message is ever left ...

Call back gives "this number is not in service"

They say they are from HMRC, and if I don’t press button number 1 we will arrest you, obviously a scam.

Some legal company called me by my first name regarding an accident. Told them I've never had one so they hung up. Girl with Liverpool accent.

Caller claiming to be from Microsoft Yahoo wanted to check something relating to my Yahoo Local business listing that required I was at a computer. I m out of the office so they said they would call back later. Sounds like a scam.

Update: Calling back gives "number unrecognised", so certainly a scam.
